By Tonja Weimer Would you like to be dating during the holidays? Like Frosty the Snowman, do you live without hugs, watch people at play all around you, and stand alone when everyone else goes home at night? Worst of all, do you worry that you will melt and disappear at the first sign of warmth? The good news is that even if you are alone, you do not have to act like Frosty. In fact, the holidays are a perfect time to step out of your usual habits, haunts, and hide-a-ways and meet someone. Snowmen obviously do not have the choices that you do. So forget the Frosty routine of being stuck in the same place, doing the same things, getting the same results. Let go of your attitude that there is nowhere to go, no one to meet, and nothing you can do about it. Its not your appearance of an icy statue that needs melting, its your frozen outlook, cold and indifferent to what your soul longs for. Lets get your Frosty self ready for love. Follow these steps: *Ask yourself if you are ready to meet someone. Do you find yourself talking about your EX, complaining about your boss, or haunted by a relationship that went sour? The people who have the least chance of meeting someone and having it last longer than a cold winter are those with BAGGAGE. Baggage can weigh you down so you need to unburden yourself. Resolve old issues from the past. Apologize or write a letter or make a call, but start taking responsible actions to let go of it. People will abandon their relationship with you if they have to spend more than 15% of their time working on your past problems. *Address the practical points of your life. These are the everyday demands on your time, energy, money, and spirit. Do you need a reliable babysitter for your children? Or a caretaker for an elderly parent? Or do you need new tires on your car or a new roof on your house or your hot water heater fixed? What practical issue holds you back because you havent taken time or thought to handle it? Clean up some of the nagging details of your life and watch your Frosty legs start moving. *Spin straw into gold. You heard me. Take everything about yourself and spiff it up. Hair, clothes, shoes, posture, and facial expressions (smile!) all determine if someone finds you attractive. Snowmen are cold and un-huggable, they wear funny clothes, and they are immobile, unable to reach out to others. But you have a power greater than that found in Frostys hatnot only can you dance, you can change your appearance, your actions, and your destiny. *Practice being friendly. Go to a mall, gym, museum, or a public library and smile at people. Make eye contact and then get close enough to ask them a question. If they are friendly, stay and talk. If this is hard for you to do, then practice it over and over until you can talk to strangers. Under your snowy exterior is a real live you that people could warm to if you gave them a chance. *Move. Make plans to go out and get out. Talk to your friends or to people at work. See if you can get invited to one of their get- togethers. This season, go to every party and social function you can find! Holidays are opportune times to ask people if they know someone for you. Over 45 % of people meet through friends and family. *Have fun. Once you have dealt with the above, then relax. Surrender to the moment, knowing you have done everything you could humanly do to get to where you are. This may be the season for Frosty the Snowman, but you dont have to be him. You can spend your holidays being warm, expressive, and very very real. You dont have to be stuck in one place like Frosty you can be moving and dancing and getting out and about. This is the time to be bold, present, and most of all, extending yourself to everyone you meet. Because, this is YOUR season. Happy Holidays. Lemon Law Attorneys
By Damian Sofsian Nowadays, you do not need to be stuck with a newly purchased car that has recurring problems. Almost every state has approved some type of lemon law, protecting you as a consumer from defective products. Even if you only suspect that the vehicle youve purchased could be defective, it is best that you hire an attorney to represent you. Hiring a lawyer who specializes in lemon laws during the initial stages of the problem could help you save more in the long run. These lawyers are trained to help you determine if the vehicle you purchased can be classified as a lemon or not. Technically, your newly purchased car is only considered a lemon if you have given proper attention to all of its problems, if all efforts to fix these problems have been exhausted, and if the manufacturer has been given the opportunity to try and fix the problem but cannot. You need to wait for a specified period of time and if after that period of time the problem still persists, then your lawyer can advise you to push through with your case. There are times when even if your case does not fall under the lemon law, your lawyer will be able to help you receive proper compensation by filing for a breach of warranty. Although this alternative may not garner you as much compensation as a lemon law case, you have a greater chance of success and will likely receive more than the amount stated in the warranty. Lemon Laws provides detailed information on Automobile Lemon Laws, Boat Lemon Laws, Computer Lemon Laws, Lemon Law Attorneys and more. Lemon Laws is affiliated with California Boat Lemon Law. What Should We Pray?
By Darlene Bishop Prayer is an important aspect of our Christian faith. That's probably why there are hundreds - or thousands! - of books and articles on the subject of prayer. Many of them address the issue of HOW to pray without covering WHAT to pray... what to say when you pray.
As a pastor, it's sad to say that my own prayers bore me at times. My lack of imagination causes me to pray the same things over and over...
"Lord... meet their needs. Draw them to you. Forgive them. Open their eyes. Heal them. Touch them."
While the desire is to see God work - and that's a good thing - there are times when I yearn for more creative, original thoughts when praying.
Here are three things that I've "borrowed" from others whose prayers have touched my heart and reached into my soul. Perhaps they'll help you as much as they've helped me.
Pray the Scriptures.
There are many beautiful passages in the Scriptures that truly draw our hearts toward God. The Psalms, being poetry and songs, especially seem to invite us to let the words become our own.
Psalm 100 has always been a favorite of mine, perhaps because it was one of the few I memorized as a child. But Psalm 51, Psalm 37 and Psalm 24 have also meant a lot to me in times of need and I have prayed them often.
When looking for other passages, the books of Isaiah, Joshua and John come to mind as offering a number of sample prayers. Then there's the well-known "Prayer of Jabez" (1 Chronicles 4:9-10) and of course, Psalm 23 and the Lord's Prayer (Matthew 6:9-12) which are classics.
Pray a song.
There are many wonderful hymns that are actually prayers. Select your favorites and sing or recite them to the Lord. But don't neglect newer numbers. Many contemporary songs offer amazing, creative approaches for communing with God.
Bob Carlisle, best known for his hit, "Butterfly Kisses," has recorded several songs that I've personally used as prayers many times. His songs "Use Me" and "Chance I Have to Take" from his debut album had more to do with me accepting God's call to full-time ministry than anything else in my life at the time. The lyrics of these two songs became, literally, the cries of my heart. And God heard those cries and called me to full-time service for Him.
Be careful what you pray for.
Read the prayers of others.
Books of Christian poetry often contain prayers. Or you can visit some wonderful Websites with prayers and poems to help you creatively draw near the Father.
While I'm not a member of the Roman Catholic church, I thoroughly enjoy the idea of praying the Apostles' Creed as many Catholics do. Then there is always the "Serenity Prayer." You can also visit the following Websites for ideas or search Google for "sample prayers" for many other options.

There are many other options for praying, including memorized prayers, silent meditations and simple conversations with God. While prayer doesn't have to contain flowery phrases or uniquely imaginative words, it does help us to put some thought into our prayers so they don't become simply "sounding brass" or "clanging cymbals" in the ears of our Lord.

Gastric Bypass: The Easy Way Out of Fat Land - Right?
By Kaye Bailey If you listen, even for a moment, to the talk in overweight communities you will almost always hear that gastric bypass weight loss surgery is the easy way out of Fat Land. People with weak spirits and good insurance get a lucky break, have their stomachs whacked and stapled and lose weight the easy way. Weight Loss Surgery: seen by pious public to be surgical baptism for the guilty gluttonous slothful. But those of us who step in the water to be cleansed of our fatty sins know better. Weight loss surgery is NOT the easy way out, a simple dunking of the repentant, the sins atoned, and the price paid, the soul and body healed. We know the atonement is paid every day for the rest of our lives when we set our healthy house in order with gastric bypass. We understand that WLS is not easy. Why, then, does the public think its redemption to weight loss? First: what the public sees is a rapidly diminishing person recently repaired by gastric bypass. The pounds melt away seemingly in a plain sight. What hides behind the curtain are the ugly demons. Dumping? We dont talk about it. Vomiting? We dont tell our regurgitating stories. Head games driving you insane? Who you going to tell? Who is listening? Exercising? Nobody wants to hear about the E word. So what the public sees front and center stage is a person consistently succeeding at massive weight loss; a person glowing in their own rebirth and betraying the fat and hopeless around them. How else can it be explained? WLS must be the magic pill, the easy-way-out of obesity hell. Second: the WLS grass-roots public relations machine tells the public gastric bypass is easy, thus we become our own worst enemy. Tell me if this doesnt sound familiar: I can still eat the same things, just less of them! ha ha ha! or how about, I lost 145 pounds and never had to do a moments exercise WLS is fabulous that way no exercise required. And so the popular belief perpetuates that fat glutton slobs can lose weight just by eating less of the same foods and never exercising. Brilliant! How easy is that? Let me tell you what weight loss surgery is really like for me. I am six years post-op. Two nights ago I vomited my dinner (bacon-seared sea scallops and green beans) because it was just a bit too greasy for my sensitive stomach. A week before that I became deathly ill, its called dumping, from snacking mindlessly on Chinese chow mein noodles. Disorientation, hot sweats and then cold chills dumping a dire consequence of eating the wrong foods with the malabsorptive system. This morning, just like most mornings, I walked two brisk miles on the treadmill to begin my day. This evening I spent 25 minutes strength training to maintain my muscle tone, keep my metabolism running high and making damn sure I dont regain one single pound. And this is how it will be for the rest of my life. I will vomit, dump, exercise and be vigilant day in and day out if I want this easy weight loss surgery to work for me. My body does not take weekends off from weight loss surgery. I dont get chocolate cake just because its my birthday. I do not have a double-cheeseburger with fries and a shake just because Ive had a stressful day and I deserve it. My body is on the gastric-bypass plan 24-7. Do you think thats easy? Weight Loss Surgery post-ops understand what Im talking about. Many of us go through a phase of fighting the gastric bypass and engage in snacking or grazing. We out-eat the stomach pouch and regain weight and we become self-loathing. We vomit and dump and do it all over again thinking we can somehow trick the body. Eventually we learn and we get it: WLS is for life. Weight loss surgery pre-op patients want badly to understand this, but the dieting culture has taught us to be strict for X-number days and then we get a free day. The culture has taught us if we can stick to a plan for X-weeks and lose X-pounds then we can get back to normal. We are all expert dieters by the time we elect to have gastric bypass surgery. There is no back to normal after WLS it is a lifetime lifestyle commitment. Kaye Bailey 2005 - All Rights Reserved An award winning journalist and former newspaper editor Kaye Bailey brings expertise in writing and personal experience with gastric bypass surgery to EzineArticles.com. Having spent most of her life overweight Ms. Bailey is strongly empathetic toward the obese, particularly overweight children. This compassion compelled her to found the website http://www.livingafterwls.com, a fast-growing resource of information, understanding and support for the weight loss surgery community. Memorialize Your Loved One With A Cremation Urn
By Jim Johnson It is a fact of life that all of us will lose someone that we care about in death at some point, and although we may not be able to be with them any longer, it's a widely accepted part of the grieving process to memorialize them in a fitting way. There are many ways that this can be done today and the funeral industry has a wide variety of products that can help dignify the occasion. However, one of the most time-honored and ancient of burial customs is that of cremation. The practice of cremation was the most predominat means of corpse disposal until the advent of Christianity in the Roman Empire. There were several reasons why cremation was popular among ancient cultures, and one was that fire was considered a purifying agent that would release the spirit of the deceased in the proper way and allow for a safe journey to their next life. Of course, besides the philosophical or religious properties of cremation, the health benefits of the practice was never in doubt. Disposal of the body in this way eliminated the possiblility of disease being spread by decay. Therefore the practice of cremation has become more and more accepted in Western cultures as cities have grown larger and cemetaries have become more crowded. Cremation in the modern era involves the use of high levels of heat that reduce the body of the deceased to ashes. The ashes can then be spread without causing any health problem to others. However, increasingly many people today are returning to the ancient practice of storing the ashes in a funerary urn instead. In such a container the ashes can be kept and memorialized by their loved ones, or it can also serve as a fitting receptacle for burial as well. Cremation urns are available in many different configurations and price levels, and they need not simply be a utilitarian object. In fact, some urns can be very decorative and attractive in appearance. So if you wish to memorialize a loved one in a dignified way, be sure to consider a crematory urn as another way to honor and remember them. Jim Johnson writes on many consumer related topics. You can find out more about urns for cremation by visiting our All About Urns website. Cell Phone Plans 101
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Joseph_Hanoa]Joseph Hanoa People can have cell phone service with or without a service plan. Most people sign up with a carrier for a certain level of service for which they pay a monthly fee. This package includes certain features, depending on the service level in the contract. They are then locked into this contract for a year or more, and have to pay the monthly fee whether or not they use the minutes or features. Most new customers receive a free or discounted price phone when they sign up with a carrier which is why many end up with complicated phones and features they will never use. Once they sign the contract they are obligated for a year or more. If they break the contract, they incur a penalty. Some of these penalties can be hefty. Many people object to this kind of contract. If they still want to use a cell phone, they can buy a pre-paid cell phone. In this situation they buy the number of minutes that they want and prepay the amount. Depending on the carrier, they can prepay for thirty to one thousand minutes of phone time. Sometimes this comes in the form of a phone card that specifies the number of minutes on it. When they deplete the number of minutes that they have purchased, the phone just stops working. If the user wants to keep using a prepaid phone, they have to buy more minutes or another phone card. If they dont want to keep using prepaid service, they can throw out the phone since it wont work without the prepaid minutes. Prepaid phone service is becoming so popular that many cellular carriers are beginning to offer the service. The advantage of the prepaid cellular phone is there is no contract for a year that results in a penalty if you cancel. With most prepaid plans the user can stop using it by not buying more minutes when his run out. He pays no penalty for not renewing and does not pay monthly service charges for features he does not use. This is one of the reasons for the popularity of these plans. Because of prepaid cell phones it is possible for people to have cell phone usage without a contract with a carrier and monthly bills. The prepaid charges are higher than the regular carrier contract charges, but for many people it is worth it. Alli Fat Binder: Have Your Fat and Eat It Too?
By Danna Schneider Well, er, I think that's what I meant to say. My girlfriends and I must have had the "wouldn't it be great if you could just take a pill and eat whatever you want to stay thin?" conversation about a hundred times when I was younger and consumed with being ultra fit and thin. Well, now it seems this "miracle pill" we had all hoped for may be closer to a reality. News has abounded lately with the buzz about a new OTC (over the counter) diet pill offering which is a weaker form of a prescription weight loss aid called Orlistat. This watered down version of Orlistat has been newly dubbed "alli" instead of its current shelf moniker "Xenical", the manufacturing company says, to convey the idea that this pill is your weight loss buddy and you and the pill together can work to lose the weight you're looking to shed. Orlistat and its kid sister alli's function in the body is to flush about 25% of the dietary fat you consume from your body through your bowel movements by binding itself to the fat and carrying it out of the body when waste is eliminated. This has been estimated by the drug's maker to translate into roughly a 150-200 calorie savings at each meal. Quite impressive, isn't it? However, any time you hear the word flush or expel through bowel movements, this makes most people think of one thing. How is taking this pill with your meals going to affect your bowel movements, and are you going to be in any discomfort or pain from the inevitably more frequent cleansing of the digestive tract? Well, alli must be taken with every meal in order to be effective and to ensure the proper absorption and subsequent expulsion of the excess dietary fat in the food consumed. About one half of the patients who participated in the studies did experience gastrointestinal side effects - or discomfort, bloating, diarrhea and/or gas, in other words. And "alli" is not something to be taken if you don't plan on cutting down calories and fat in your diet either. Apparently gastrointestinal side effects can be minimized by following a reduced calorie and reduced fat diet. Presumably this is because the less fat and calories you consume (fat is extremely calorie-dense), the less you will have to "flush" out of your system, and hence less gastrointestinal discomfort will be experienced. Indications for alli are also that the diet pill is only intended for use by those eighteen and older, and it is not recommended for individuals who have had organ transplants, as the diet aid could potentially have harmful drug interactions. The estimated monthly cost for the alli diet pill is reportedly currently between sixty and one hundred dollars. Danna Schneider is the cofounder of Diet Pill Reviews , where you can find information on weightloss products, fitness equipment and diet reviews, and dieting tips for losing weight. She also founded Dieting and Weightloss News, a site dedicated to the latest offerings and breakthroughs in weight loss and fitness, updated constantly. Revision Rhinoplasty
By Dr. Roy Amir Rhinoplasty patients often wish to improve upon the results of surgery done elsewhere. Reasons for dissatisfaction range from assymetries and undercorrection of previous deformity to poorly planned procedures with overcorrection and associated nasal obstruction. Revision rhinoplasty is widely considered one the more complex procedures in plastic surgery, and requires careful planning and realistic objectives. The procedure may involve grafting of cartilage or other materials to restructure and strengthen the nose, as well as improve breathing. A key first step with revision rhinoplasty patients is to identify the problems. Usually, patients point out the obvious concerns: a persistent hump, a scooped out bridge or "saddle-nose" deformity, an overly wide tip, etc. Other problems require a careful physical examination and may include alar retraction, persistent deviated septum, nasal valve collapse, scar tissue, etc. Once the patient's concerns are identified, along with other issues that may require correction, a realistic surgical plan is formulated. The patient must understand that with each surgical procedure scar tissue is created, and scar tissue makes results of further surgery more difficult to predict. Nevertheless, many patients are excellent candidates for revision rhinoplasty, as long as their expectations are in sync with what is surgically feasible. Revision rhinoplasty may require more operating time than primary rhinoplasty, as the dissection and sculpting need to be meticulous. Grafting is often used to rebuild the nasal bridge or add strength to the nose. Cartilage from the nasal septum may be used, but if this is not sufficient ear cartilage can be used with minimal scarring and no change to the appearance of the ear. Occasionally, artificial dermis may be added to thicken nasal skin that has retracted from previous surgery. San Diego Facial Plastic surgeon Dr. Roy David Amir is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and specializes in plastic surgery of the Face, Nose, Eyes, Neck, and Scalp. Dr. Amir is double-board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is one of a select group of surgeons to complete a prestigious Fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery under the auspices of the AAFPRS. Raised in Northern California, Dr. Amir attended UCSD, where he was appointed a regents scholar and graduated summa cum laude. He went on to attend medical school at Pen University, one of our nation's top medical schools. Dr. Amir then completed a five year surgical residency in Otolaryngology- at UIC in Chicago, which included intensive training in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the head and neck and an additional year of fellowship at the renowned Rousso Facial Plastic Surgery Clinic in Birmingham. Relationship Leper
By Laura McDonald I was married the first time (ominous words...the first time) for 16 years. In retrospect, that marriage probably could have been saved if we'd utilized counseling and found some great relationship material which may have been published at the time. Ah well, hindsight. During my dating stint post-divorce, some of which was internet contact, I communicated with an interesting and attractive man. Sooner than later, I learned that he'd been married, and divorced, 5 times. Warning, warning. DANGER, flailing my arms around in robotic pantomime. I ended that direction in short order. Obviously he wasn't good relationship material. I married again. That relationship of 6 years ended with his drug usage and an affair. Sometimes I can be surprisingly dumb for as smart as I am? HE only had one divorce behind him. Maybe I should have asked Mr. Fiver different questions. Third marriage. And to my horror, THIRD DIVORCE. I felt shellshocked. And terribly embarrassed. Memories of my fast judgement of Mr. Fiver came flooding back to me, how quickly I'd axed him without giving him a chance. With three divorces under my belt, I quailed at the thought of being similarly, and immediately, axed without a chance to prove my good character and relationship-worthiness. How terribly unfair that would be. Although I take at least half the responsibility of my first divorce, nos. 2 and 3 were more the other's fault by a landslide. (We'll ignore the fact that I did waltz myself into those relationships, shall we? That's a topic for a different article!) I had mental images of "go-see's" in front of potential dates. "I've been divorced three times," I imagined myself declaring, and then coughing up their dust as they ran for the hills. Frankly, I wouldn't have blamed them. Now perhaps I just hadn't quite hit the buzzer mark for interested suitors. Or perhaps there was something they saw in me that made them decide to explore further upon hearing those dreaded words - I spilled them as quickly as I could reasonably bring it up in a conversation: HiMyNameIsLauraI'veBeenDivorcedThreeTimesAndYou? Ahem. Whatever it was, I found that no one screamed "Exit, stage left!" and left me standing next to a little poof of smoke. Maybe they were shellshocked too, and unable to move? Actually, they asked pertinent questions regarding my divorces and listened to my explanations. I was very upfront with them concerning what I felt my part was in the marriage demises, minus the ad nauseum. I also shared in a general way what I had learned. Dating excursions thus continued for awhile, with me feeling comfortable that I wasn't dismissed as a relationship leper! Ever feel like you're a relationship leper? Have you learned from past mistakes and able to articulate your past in a way that doesn't frighten prospective dates? Currently, my (third) ex-husband and I have reconciled, and we had our divorce annulled. It's as if we were never divorced. I am very happy that we've resolved the problems that led up to our divorce...and relieved that my score card dropped back to 3-2. Upon that realization came the next one: time to retire my score card. Laura McDonald lives in Frankfort, KY, with her husband Patrick. She is a paralegal. Essential Oils Today
By Paulette Gehrke Essential oils have been around for thousands of years and have been used in cooking, cosmetics, healing and religious ceremonies and continue to be used throughout the world today. Scientist over the years have analyzed and tested the therapeutic benefits of essential oils and there are many books written about the therapeutic benefits as well. It is known that essential oils contain vitamins, hormones, plant estrogen along with natural antiseptics and antibiotics and may contain the life force of the plant itself. Essential oil or plant essence is the extracted liquid from the plant; stems, leaves, flowers, roots, bark and seeds. This liquid may be extracted by using different methods. Steam distillation uses low heat for long periods of time and may produce the best quality essential oil. Plants or parts of the plant are placed in or over a kettle of water and the steam is collected. Only steam distilled plant essences can be called "essential oils". Other methods include absolutes; which is extracted by using a solvent, cold pressed; just like it sounds the plant is pressed by machine to extract the liquids, hydro-diffusion; is very similar to steam distilled however in this method the steam is forced from the top of the plant rather than from the bottom. This method is best suited for very leafy herbs and produces essential oils that are very close to what is found in the plant itself. Essential oils may be used to reduce stress, by using the correct plant essence the effects on the central nervous system can be a gentle and effective way to change mood and/or stress level. One of many essential oils used to reduce stress is lavender (lavendula Angustifolia, lavendula officinalis) this oil is known as a great stress reliever and "The Universal" oil. It is "baby-safe" and may be used directly on the skin to treat wounds. The oil is known as a natural sleep inducer and makes a great insect repellent as well. So a couple drops under your pillow will ensure a bug free good-nights sleep. Neroli (citrus aurantium), is yet another essential oil that may be used for nervous tension, insomnia and stress-related illness as it has a very positive and calming influence over our nervous system. Preventative healthcare is yet another benefit from essential oils. They are a natural way to strengthen our physical, mental and spiritual beings. Essential oils work by supporting our entire body and boosting our immune system. Tea Tree (melaleuca alternifolia) essential oil for example is used for many health benefits; its actions are used as an anti-septic, anti-viral and fungicidal among many other uses. It helps to combat acne, athlete's foot, warts and helps to heal wounds from insect bites or other infected sores. There are many other essential oils beneficial for use in healthcare. Geranium (pelargonium graveolens), rosemary (rosmarinus officinalis)and peppermint (mentha piperita) just to name a few, each specializing in their own unique properties. Aroma therapy is not an instant cure, you may also need to consult with your own doctor to be sure there are no contradictions with your medications. Essential oils are a part of holistic health that help to support the body and may be used in harmony with allopathic medicine. Inhalation or breathing in the essential oil is one way to obtain its benefits. The beneficial properties from the plant travel directly to our limbic system, this is the area which controls our basic needs and emotions. This connection is instantaneous and the effect is already at work before we have a conscious thought about what we are smelling. The central nervous system reacts on reflex and is responding before you can say the name of the oils that you are smelling. Topical application such as in soaps, lotions or body oils, are absorbed through the skin and into the bloodstream where the oils are brought to the part of the body that is needing support. The beautiful thing about using topical applications, now you are not only breathing in the essential oil to your limbic system you are absorbing the essential oil into your bloodstream as well. Essential oil safety is very important. In Aroma therapy remember that less is more. It takes 30 roses to make one drop of rose oil!!! Essential oils should not be taken internally. They can cause damage to the mucus membranes in the digestive system. Essential oils are very concentrated and are 40 times stronger than the dried herb. Oils should always be diluted when applied to the skin, the only exceptions are lavender and tea tree oils. Before using any new oils on your skin you should always do a skin patch test on the back of your wrist to check for sensitivity to the oil. When in doubt with any oils, research or ask a qualified aroma therapist for information. Essential oils used properly are very safe and enjoyable and can bring balance and harmony into your life. Check out some Aroma therapy soaps at Natural Earth Essentials. Natural Earth Essentials started out by my passion for growing herbs and using those herbs in natural handcrafted products. Products that are safe for humans and safe for the planet as well. Whenever possible I use herbs that I have wildcrafted from my own beautiful gardens, otherwise I buy from very trusted sources. I started out making my handcrafted soaps and handing them out to family & friends to test. Miraculously they kept coming back for more. I love creating new soaps and can't wait to slice that soap brick to see what my soaps will look & smell like. Over time I have created a wonderful recipe that has proven to be a luxurious, moisturizing, gentle bar of soap full of beneficial natural glycerin and this I bring to you. http://www.neesoaps.com Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Paulette_Gehrke http://EzineArticles.com/?Essential-Oils-Today&id=325183 phentermine no prescription canada

Worst Foods For Weight Loss
By Michael Russell So you decided that you want to lose weight, you already know that you need to cut down on your calories by doing exercise or lowering the amount of food you eat, but what you should know is that it's your diet that's going to decide if you're going to lose weight. There are certain types of foods that are filled with sugar and fat that have zero nutritional value and are just empty calories. Here are the foods you should always avoid if your goal is weight loss. White bread - most people can't imagine eating their breakfast without their toast, their hamburgers without their buns or simply wrapping their chicken in a white bread pita. What they don't know is unlike whole grain breads; white breads have been stripped of their nutritional value. Not only that, but because of heavy processing, white bread is equivalent to table sugar: it has a very high glycemic index close to glucose. Table sugar - not only the table sugar you use to sweeten your morning coffee, but all candy, chocolate, soda and other sweets included. Table sugar, which is actually a 50/50 mix of fructose and glucose, has zero nutritional value and just a bunch of empty calories which will increase your blood glucose levels and force the body to release large amounts of insulin. Not to mention all the damage it can cause to the body. Fried foods - all fried are bad for weight loss. First of all, they're mostly fat because of all the oil, which is mostly saturated and trans fat and they're high in calories. Second, because of the extreme heat when frying, it destroys EFA's (essential fatty acids) which are fatty acids that the body can't produce on its own and actually help with weight loss. Doughnuts and other pastries - Imagine a bagel made up of white flour, deep fried and added with sugary toppings; that's how bad doughnuts are. Doughnuts are very calorie dense, high in saturated/trans fats and have a lot of sugar in them which is the complete opposite of what you want in a food when your goal is weight loss. Ice cream - much like doughnuts, these are also very bad for you, but they can actually be worse because of the fact that they're extremely calorie dense. One cup of regular vanilla ice, which is a small serving for most people, has over 360 calories and half of those calories come from fat that are mostly saturated. The more tasty ice cream flavors contain a lot more calories, so you won't realize it but the time you finish your "little" snack, you'd have consumed close to 1000 calories. Bacon, sausage - even though people have made this a standard feature for their usual breakfast, they fail to realize is that almost all the calories in these types of foods come from fat. You can still eat these foods from time to time as long as it is not a big part of your diet and that you watch your serving size. But for everyone who wants optimal results, it is always best not to include these types of foods. Michael Russell

A Natural Body Detox Can Dramatically Improve Your Health
By Annika Rockwell Detoxification therapy is a completely natural and necessary process to get you healthy and feeling your best! If youve never done an official detox program, you are long overdue for a cleansing experience that will renew your energy, reduce food cravings, improve your metabolism, give you radiant skin, better your sleep, and strengthen your immune system. What is detoxification? Detoxification is the process of either clearing toxins from the body or neutralizing them. There are several organs involved in cleansing your system: The colon, liver, gallbladder, lungs, kidneys, bladder, blood, and skin. Each one needs to be stimulated to clean out clogged tissues and suffocated cells from the cumulative damage of alcohol, cigarettes, caffeine, prescription drugs, sugar, pollution, chemicals and hormones in our food. Why detox? The primary cause of disease is the accumulation of waste and toxins, which are not eliminated from our body. Some symptoms of toxicity include headaches, fatigue, skin problems, frequent colds, aching joints, cravings, digestive problems, allergies, and sensitivity to smells or chemicals. Given the right herbs, nourishment, and some rest, your body has the power to heal itself and return to a renewed state, functioning more efficiently than ever before. Who should detoxify? Although everyone can benefit from a detox cleanse, those of us who are overweight, have unhealthy diets, take medications, drink alcohol, have health problems, or are exposed to chemicals in the workplace, need it more than others. I personally have a very healthy diet, drink purified water, take supplements, and exercise regularly, but the amazing benefits I get from doing a complete internal cleanse continues to convince me that all of us are suffering from the toxins around us and in our food, no matter how healthy we think we are. Even with a healthy lifestyle, the body forms mucoid plaque, a rubber-like lining throughout the walls of the intestines. This plaque is filled with toxic waste and prevents proper absorption of nutrients leading to poor digestion, skin problems, sluggish metabolisms, and headaches. During a good cleanse, this mucoid plaque is actually eliminated from the intestines and is quite visible and disgusting to see. My clients are sometimes disturbed by this event, but thereafter convinced to keep doing their complete Internal Cleansing Kit by Blessed Herbs each year with some mini detox in between. Whats the best way to get started? First, if you have any medical condition, check with your doctor to find out if doing a detox cleanse is safe for you. There are a few levels of detoxification ranging from beginner to advanced. The beginner can do a simple one or two day fast on fresh vegetable juice and water once a month, supplementing with a Toxin Absorber made of bentonite clay, apple pectin, and psyllium seed which draw out and eliminate toxins from your intestines. Those ready for an intermediate detox can do a whole body cleanse such as with the Internal Cleansing Kit by Blessed Herbs which contains herbs to targets all the bodys organs of elimination and lasts for 21 days. During a longer intermediate cleanse, its a good time to clean up your diet, eat plenty of green vegetables, drink good water, breath clean air, and exercise. An advanced detox program includes a five day liquid fast during which you are resting from work and exercise. In addition, a complete herbal cleansing program or kit should be followed for 21 days to thoroughly scrub and remove mucoid plaque off the intestinal walls, and detox all organs such as the liver, kidneys, lungs, and skin. Colonics are always a good idea during any level of cleansing. Read a good book on juice fasting and cleansing. Some good ones include Internal Cleansing by Linda Berry, D.C. and Juice Fasting and Detoxification by Steve Meyerowitz. In conclusion, we all need to detoxify our bodies regularly to eliminate the toxins and congestion causing poor health, low energy, and disease. Its a time for the body to regain vitality and rejuvenate its cells. Fasting is also a time to reevaluate things in our lives, remove negative energy or abuse, eliminate addictions, and be more open to spiritual and emotional energy. The physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of detoxification are proven throughout our history and are invaluable for good health.
